Wendy E McGarry: I have dabbled with photography my whole life and have been professionally involved with Casual Candids since 1987. At Temple University, I majored in Nursing, earning a BSN degree. I am a single mom of three children, ages 18 (a college freshman),16, and 11. We live on a small horse farm and are kept very busy taking care of the property and our retired race horse, Abrien! In my rare free time, I like to do pilates, read and hike. My favorite part of photographing an event is the candid portion of the party. I find people have relaxed and can be themselves. I try to stay unobtrusive so that I can be a window into the life of the family and friends. My favorite images are those candid shots of people dancing, groups of people together, or even a private time of contemplation between a bride and groom. It is these moments that capture unguarded emotions which allows me to preserve a timeless moment in a person's life. |

Yvette Laura Kisling: I have been with Casual Candids for 5 of the 6 years that I have been a photographer. My major in college was Sociology. I live in Hopewell, New Jersey, with my husband, son, daughter and two cats. I love spending time with my children, family, and friends. I enjoy reading, photographing and I have broad interests in art and music. I am absolutely crazy for Barbie dolls- love them! I adore sampling coffee from every place that has it and I like to cuddle. Witnessing tender moments is what I enjoy about photographing events. I get swept away in the romance of weddings. I always aspire to be better than I was yesterday. Every day, every event is an opportunity to do my best. I go to every assignment with one mantra- "see it.." I try to see the specialness of each event I cover and record it in my way. My favorite image changes each day because my mind is filled with challenges and my tastes evolve. I am my best each and every day and so are my images. |

Jennifer Jones Bulsza: I have been with Casual Candids since 1998 or 9 (I am not sure!). I got my first camera in fifth grade and became the "kid with the camera"- does that count? Professionally, I started photographing children in 2000 and photographed my first event in 2003. I'm a graduate of Penn State with a major in Liberal Arts and a minor in Business. I have been married since 1993 and have two great kids, a daughter and a son. My family recently moved to Central Bucks County and we love the area! My hobbies are reading and doing cross stitch although I haven't had a chance to do much of either since becoming a Mom! I love the pre-wedding time- nervous energy flows through a room when the bride and groom are getting ready with their friends and family. Facial expressions you can capture during a wedding ceremony are a very close second, however! I have a few faves when it comes to the bride and groom, but I do remember one time at the Art Museum when the bride nuzzled the groom while holding the edge of her veil and the wind took her veil airborne. |

Odalis Kenia Chacon: I have been working with Casual Candids since the summer of 2006 and have been a photographer for 10 years (I think!). My degree is a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Houston, Class of 2002. I have several nieces and nephews who live too far away, but I do have two little nieces of the cute, furry variety who are close enough to spoil on a regular basis- the cutest dogs I know! I'm a bit of a foodie so I am always up for trying a new restaurant or enjoying a good meal. I even follow smittenkitchen.com and though I am not about to pull a Julie and Julia, I do enjoy whipping up some of the tasty recipes! In preparation for a trip to Paris, I recently took a French class and now I want to be able to speak it fluently, but that may take a while.....I love the Details of events. Whether it's the flowers, the dress, or capturing the smile on Mom's face as she helps her daughter get into her dress, it's all those little details that make the day! When I shoot, I am always striving to capture the moment in a beautiful way. Many of my favorite images are those of quiet moments between bride and groom where a special glance lets you know how happy they are- they don't have to say a word. |

Christy Sherupski Black: I have been taking award winning photographs since high school and have been with Casual Candids for about two years. My degrees are a BS in Telecommunications majoring in TV and Journalism and a Master's Degree in Special Education. Married for 14 years to my husband Tom, we have three children ages 10, 8 and 3. I like to spend time with my family, cook, read, exercise at the gym and travel.. Parties are all happy occasions. People gather joyfully together, feeling and looking their best. I get to stop time and capture happy memories for them knowing they will always have these important bookmarks to look back on. The smiles on their faces make me feel so good about what I do. When I photograph an event, all of the images together tell the story of that day. Making each image stand out on its own is what I personally strive for. What I may think is a good photograph, my client may think is a fabulous photograph because each image means something unique for every one of us! |
